CQR-981 is a compact and portable 3.5G wireless-N pico router. The new CNet router comes with a mini-USB port for power and can be powered up using USB ports on laptops, PCs or car chargers. This tiny router is multifunctional and can operate in router, AP as well as wi-fi AP modes. When used as a router, CQR-981 connects and shares Internet access through UMTS, HSPA, CDMA/2000 cellular networks as well as Cable/DSL and Wi-Fi connections. In AP mode, wireless-N clients can access wired networks through CQR-981 and when router is configured as Wi-Fi APC, all wired nodes connected to the LAN port wirelessly connect to other networks. With automatic WAN type detection, users can easily connect and share their Internet access in no time. To provide wireless security, the router not only supports WEP/WPA/WPA2 and WPS standards but can also partition WLAN network for more security.
